Honestly thought that TV3's top twenty would be better with the first week of I'm a Celeb ..., I know the extra show is on 3e so it will be interesting to see their monthly figures, fortunately TLLTS airs in December meaning it won't inflate Nov figures.

TV3 had from 175,000 to 324,000, with RTÉ One having from 247,000 to 464,000 viewers. TLLS was down this week from the previous 2 weeks difference between it as number 2 was 140,000 with D'Arcy making his first number 2 position for the first time since he returned, his highest entry and his highest audience figure this year.

Rugby did well for RTÉ2 with 433,000 viewers, fortunately RTÉ2 is also held up by another repeat of Lords and Lades, some tell how many episodes of this show there are it must be on its fifth or sixth repeat on RTÉ2.

Just Champions League broke into the top 20 outside of ITV soap and reality, with 223,000 viewers this compares to RTÉ2 114,000 viewers.

Lets start with RTÉ2. ranging from 48,000 for Say Yes To The Dress Ireland up to 85,000 for This Crowded House. With Say Yes To The Dress getting a second series. Repeats of Dragons Den, Follow Donal, Ireland's Fittess Family, Lords and Ladles and Don't Tell The Bride make up some of the top twenty, with wildlife programming taking up 5 of the top twenty. Drama/Comedies ranged from 55,000 for Nowhere Fast and The School getting 45,000, a repeat had 49,000 viewers.

TV3 had the finals of XFactor giving them their best audience of the season, 211,000 viewers for Sunday Night's final, Saturday didn't make it into the top twenty.

I'm A Celeb Had from 214,000 viewers to 240,000 viewers, with Megan and Harry getting 170,000 viewers at 20.

Those figures for RTE2 for a November evening are nothing short of embarrassing. That's the worst I've seen them for a while. No live sport this week to cover up the mess that has happened to what once a go-to channel most nights in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Considering international football on RTÉ2 the figure is very low. TV3 has done really well with their ITV content, as said it will mean a good new year for TV3 with Six Nations, BTG and ITG.

On another note TAM Ireland have no idea about internet see oct and nov figures

An 88% difference compared to last year for TV3. What a difference I'm A Celeb did for them near the end and the soaps, and it should help December's figures too.

Also looking back to 2014 when they last had the itv content, they've jumped up by 0.5% to this year, which is pretty decent in comparison to RTE2.

RTE2 got a 2% jump in Feb & Mar, so TV3 will be assuming they'll get that as well next year. And they've announced Ireland's Got Talent will launch on the first Saturday of 6 Nations.

A week with out sport gives the top shows on RTÉ 2 getting between 40,000 viewers all the way to 83,000 viewers. Irish programming on the channel Don't Tell The Bride (A repeat?) getting 83,000 viewers as did After the Headlines - Charlie Bird. Nowhere Fast had 62,000 viewers, First Dates Ireland (a repeat?) had 53,000 viewers as did Say Yes To The Dress Ireland. A repeat of Dragons Den had 50,000 viewers, The School getting 46,000 viewers and bridget and eamon getting 40,000 viewers.

TV3 didn't to so well with the final of I'm A Celeb.. coming out which had just 138,000 viewers on Friday Night. The Snapper had 121,000 viewers. The Tonight Show has its first entry into the top twenty with 114,000 viewers, following from Tommy Flemming: A Journey Home which had 113,000 viewers.

A week with out sport gives the top shows on RTÉ 2 getting between 40,000 viewers all the way to 83,000 viewers. Irish programming on the channel Don't Tell The Bride (A repeat?) getting 83,000 viewers as did After the Headlines - Charlie Bird. The I'm A Celebrity was just a special catch up episode looking at the celebs after they got out. The final was the previous Sunday. Also kind of missed The Tonight Show the past week, it is kind of a default show which is handy to have on in the background on those 3 nights.

Happy Xmas as well, and cheers for always providing the summary and analysis throughout the year.

Rather flat UK ratings yesterday, with Mrs Brown's Boys top (QEII when BBC and ITV figures combined), and nothing exceeding 7m on one channel:

Will be interesting to see the RTE returns - Spectre was perhaps on too early, and Brooklyn up against Guardians of the Galaxy, will probably see MBB the daily winner. TG4 should do well today with Munster v Leinster.

Never Say Never Again

The Eastenders christmas epp might be the highest non sports ratings for rte2 of the year, indeed i think they should consider moving eastenders to rte2 full time to give the channel a little ratings boost.

Thank God For Mrs. Brown's Boys otherwise without The Late Late Show RTÉ ONE would be dead in the water.

RTÉ2 can't go wrong with Father Ted with 152,000 viewers. Frozen had 127,000 viewers on Christmas Eve. Eamon and Bridgets XMAS special had 96,000 viewers with all other shows getting under 80,000 viewers. Nowhere Fast had just 46,000 viewers.

Daytime TV in Prime Time did well for both RTÉ ONE and TV3 with Xpose having 114,000 viewers.

Cardboard Gangsters had 172,000 viewers.

RTE2 did well on Christmas Eve, 46,000 for Four Weddings And A Funeral at quarter past midnight on RTE2. It's rare we see ratings after midnight, but goes to show how low the other programmes are performing on the channel.

According to one report Fair City was down and Coro St remain stead for Christmas Day, while Fair City isn't listed in the above table Coro St only had 175,000 viewers for Christmas Day.

Fawlty Towers beating all other shows over Christmas. That must be just depressing for RTE2 and their own home produced programming.
