    Most people have more than one channel these days (and Netflix etc) so it seems that no matter what the Late Late Show puts on, a lot of people will still watch it. Tubridy hit the jackpot.

    If it was up to me Elmo I'd be offering Tubridy and co €100,000 max. If they feel that is below what they are worth then feel free to go to a broadcaster who will accommodate them (ie. Nobody). However RTE is a closed shop full of nepotism so nothing will change.

    Little change, TV3 took RTÉ2's 6 nations but from last year Irish TV channels retain their audience below 50%. RTÉ2 help slightly by The Young Offenders but just getting above 5% of the audience. RTÉ ONE is down 5% from last year.

    Largely TV3 stole some of RTÉ's but really just a swap rather than working to gaining more

    RTE need to be allowed to make RTE News Now a real news channel and carry ads to pay for it. They also need to be allowed to change RTE 1 + 1 to be RTE Xtra or some such that would use archive stuff they have. Again they would need ads.

    The ad market should be able to support both of them without impoverishing TV3.

    Great to see The Young Offender do so well. Pity RTÉ2 is just not helping it. First time in a while seeing Neighbours on Thursday Night. Looks like all show where up during the bad weather.

    IGT remaining around 222,000 viewers.

    As I See Girls said interesting to see This Morning in the top 20, wonder how other shows that morning did.

    Suprised to see IGT fall in the ratings this week considering it followed the rubgy, 198,000 viewers for the main show.

    RTÉ2 did relatively well with Champions League, but still low down with 62,000 viewer watching the women's rugby.

    Final episode of The Young Offenders makes it to 23 this week, but after that it is a pretty typical line up for RTÉ2. Champions League coverage was in 30th position, this compare to TV3's coverage which is in 14th.

    But their is a massive disparity between the top programme Ireland V England with 792,000 viewers and 433,000 for Dancing With The Stars, while TLLS was down to 411,000 viewers even with Liam Cunningham and Mark Hamill.

    Ireland's Got Talent was in 33rd position just beating the St. Patrick's Day Festival, with 227,000 viewers. This comes off post-match Eng V Ire's 411,000 viewers.

    Few press releases showing the overall figure for some shows over the weekend:

    RTE1: Sunday: 6:30 Dancing With the Stars 577,000

    TV3: Saturday (all day share of 35.4% - record for TV3)
    2:45 Six Nations: England v Ireland 951,000
    7:30 Ireland's Got Talent 333,000

    No mention of the 1st semi final ratings yet.

    In other news, Dec will be presenting the final two Sat Night Takeaways, with The Voice UK taking the 7pm slot on ITV and the 10:30pm slot on TV3 this week while Takeaway takes a one week break.

    IGT did relatively well but very little talk about it, also very quite on the semi-finals.

    Also Striking Out did relatively well for 5Select with over 100,000 viewers, though it dipped in the second week.

    Only problem I saw with ITG was that they seemed to hold all the auditions in the Helix. Really needed to be in different Cities & towns. Still hate the Helix for live TV.

    Also interesting to see Medialive not update the site, I don't think we will see those figures as next week is Easter.

    Could you point out where I've said either of those channels in that quote?
    Also, this offers nothing of importance to the Ratings Thread, as once again you are dragging up a somewhat pathetic gripe you have regarding uppercase and lowercase letters of TV channel names.
