€600 Gaming PC?

Ok was on here a while back thinking of building a gaming PC and got some advice but hadn't the cash. Anyway the desktop finally gave up and have been using an old laptop but the itch for some gaming is starting to hit. All I have are speakers, mouse and keyboard. I need everything else. Ok was on here a while back thinking of building a gaming PC and got some advice but hadn't the cash. Anyway the desktop finally gave up and have been using an old laptop but the itch for some gaming is starting to hit.

All I have are speakers, mouse and keyboard. I need everything else.

I'm hoping especially to run Insurgency specs & DayZ rec specs

Have I any hope at all of a decent gaming experience for my budget?

I'll throw up a build now in a minute. Day Z is a bitch to run well supposedly, Insurgency will be grand on that budget.

Cool thanks

Had a mini heart attack for a sec but realized I kept the 120GB SATA. I was basically using an old Dell I added RAM and a card to for years as I play older stuff.

For Windows 8 can it still be got off Reddit? I think if that plays those 2 games well especially insurgency I'll be happy enough. Would it be able to be upgraded in a few years if needed?

Ha just realised I still have the monitor! Thought it got thrown out I wonder if I might roll with that for next while and save some cash for now, hmm.

Yeah, can add a Xeon or i7 whenever. Not suitable for Crossfire but you could likely add a 300 Series when they're released

Massive, not even sure if Day Z will launch on that, pretty sure it needs a quad core CPU. Graphics card is miles better in my build too.

If you want to shave a few quid, you can knock €100 off with a MSI 960 and an i3 4160, that's the only changes you'd need to make to what I've listed above.

Never mind. If you simply want to play those two games without Max settings or anything then Sere's build will be fine. Just checked it up.

If you don't plan on moving to stuff like FC4, Arma 3 etc then fire away with the pentium. If not, get an i3 4160.

Get a cooler master hyper 212 evo with the pentium, you'll be over clocking it to play Day Z
