I recently got this error of "Processor fan not detected" when I boot up my PC. It's quite an old machine but does the job. Has been working fine since I've got that error.

Anybody know why this happened and how/if I should fix it ? I'm not great with the hardware aspect of computers

Check the fan is spinning and unplug/replug the cable going from it. Replace if not spinning, or you'll fry the CPU. It probably needs fluff/dust removing too.
