    Is Goodell that fcuking useless?!?!?

He had months to learn the pronunciation Mariota's name and he butchers it.

The boos are justified for this clown.

    Chip must be gutted.

That 5th QB was the final piece to his puzzle. Can't see them winning the Superbowl now.

That's who I think anyway. Nice, safe hometown pick.

Would be my guess. Either him or Williams. Cooper a wildcard.

Picks in for the jags already..if only every team went at their speed ðŸ˜Â

    Speeding up now

The Titans must have been haggling hard but didn't get it done

Not to mention its a reasonably easy enough name to pronounce.

And the NFL were upset when some of the top names stayed away from the draft

  • Registered Users Posts: 950 ✭✭✭nasty_crash

ah tbh what did they want - 3 players and 2 1st round picks and still no deal - swear mariota is the next andrew luck.... and he is isnt!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Nice pick. Bradley finally gets his rusher.

On another note, the walk that Goddell takes across the street between receiving and announcing the pick is a needless pain in the arse that drags yet more time out of the draft. Could they not have had everyone (or at least those involved in that process) in the same building?

Ha, Tim Tebow the only Heisman winning QB with a winning record in recent times.

    Wise decision from the Jags!

Ran into work this morning, training after work and into bed at 10pm. Plan worked out, got nearly 3 hours sleep and raring to go now. Surprised Titans didn't trade out. The talk of the offer flying around today must have been BS to drum up some interest.

Haven't done the same level of interest as previous years but enjoying it nonetheless.

Dante Fowler at 3, no surprises there

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

    @NEPD_Loyko

NFL wonders why picks get leaked. They wait 10 minutes after the pick is submitted before announcing it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 252 ✭✭limerickfc

Jags went with the hometown boy

  • Registered Users Posts: 950 ✭✭✭nasty_crash

    fowler is a good pick

Leonard Williams here for Oakland? Or will they go get Carr some help early? I'll go for Williams.

    I'm concerned by Mayock's earpiece!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

This is an interesting pick now. Do you try fix the worst offence in the league, or do you take the hometown pick and arguably best player in the draft? Have to go for the latter imo. Plenty more WRs in the draft.

  • Registered Users Posts: 252 ✭✭limerickfc

Somebody gotta pinch me right now!

Don't worry dude, a few months from now you'll be wide awake. The jags are quite the caffeine hit in that regard.

    Yes.

Doesn't he have the names spelt phonetically on the paper as well?

    He really is that useless.

    Williams for sure I reckon

Heard a stat somewhere that the Packers never draft 1st round receivers and McKenzie comes from there

I know its early but after all the trade hype...no trades yet.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

    Redskins just came

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,638 ✭✭✭phatkev

Really thought they would have went Williams there. Derek Carr is smiling though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

I'd be astonished if the Redskins didn't take Williams here.

Still suspicious of mayock..I think he's been told but is tryin to be more suttle than last year

Raiders picking a fast guy, who would have guessed?

I thought Leonard Williams was the most sure fire pick, i guess its a surprise he's dropped a little...how long will he slide?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 567 ✭✭✭irish_man

Does this mean the Eagles get to face Williams twice a year???? NO!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Imo Amari Cooper was the best player in the draft. My binkie from last year was Derek Carr, watch him blossom this season with a great wideout to throw to.

Agree. Asked who the Redskins will target, and all he mentions is that they're hoping the Raiders pass on Williams. No mention of who they'd target apart from him.

Redskins pick is in already. Loving the pace here. Draft appears to be going well for every team, turning their card in very fast so obviously clear in who they want.

  • Registered Users Posts: 950 ✭✭✭nasty_crash

cant believe williams is on the board at 5 - redskins are in dreamland!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,364 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

Looking like the Giants get to play Leonard Williams twice a year for the foreseeable future.
