Could someone recommend a bar for a few quiet drinks tomorrow night? Somewhere that you can have a chat but also some atmosphere?

Open to any of the hotel bars either once they are not too old?

Thanks for the help... oh not Geoffs

Loved downes back in the day. Early 90's in Waterford. Snooker table out the back. Must pay a visit when next in Waterford.

Yellow House is always a good spot for a quiet drink and a row.

Personally I would go to Jordans, it has that pre-American civil war feel about bah.I love sipping on a pint of carlsberg there while contemplating the that world war III could be looming around the corner.I aslo like the American licence plates behind the counter gives me the sense that I arrived at a steak house from a rough night on route 66 with John Denver and Kris Kristofferson, It gives me a cathartic feeling of joy and brings tears to my eyes that drip into my pint in a symbolic mixture emotion.
