Not too sure if this is the right section to ask this, but I'm looking for a new chair to replace the one I currently have. I sit at the desk most of the day, so it's important to have one that supports the back well along with being comfortable.

My budget is about €150 including delivery. Can order online.

    I think I'm using this one; http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/20103101/
It's €160, so over your budget, but they do have all their chairs in the chair section, so you can have a sit on them all to see which is best for you (I did this).

The grey one http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/20103101/#/30261152 is 150 euro but not sure if they do free delivery though.

Maybe go for a second hand herman miller aeron. I was crippled from sitting on a cheapo 'office chair' and couldn't ever go back from the aeron

Have one as well, find it comfortable upright position for sitting at the desk, and not a bad armchair alternative when watching tv as it pivots back. The leathery material ones are 160, and fabric ones 150. its was the 10 year warranty that swung it for me.

Using this one too, and find it very comfortable. It has a high back so if you're tall it's probably one of the few seats with a useful headrest!

Yup. One of the few chairs I could relax in when watching movies.

I think I didn't get that due to the armrests going too low down; would lead to possible sore wrist when gaming with the mouse.

yeah , that is a slight disadvantage but i play in a somewhat unquie style . I place my hold left arm under the keyboard and use the arrow keys and completely rest my arm on the desk for they mouse

You use the arrow keys? I'm sorry but your opinion on everything is irrelevant :pac:

I joke obviously. What are the IKEA chairs like to tear down again? I'll need to move one quite a distance come September

I recommend this one too, it's really comfy.

I even fell asleep on it a few times before :pac:

I find any chair that has the gas/air thing that allows you to have your chair at X height to be fiddly to taking apart. Not sure on this one, as I haven't had to do it yet.

as to what are they like , ive never done it , but mine doesent have screws or things like that its all twisted in type method(and the area in the back has space in it(like you unzip it and you could put things in it)
