Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

QPR have only four games to overturn a four-point deficit and preserve their Premier League status with the first of three remaining away matches coming at a ground where they have won once in their history. The statistics do not augur well for Chris Ramsey’s team but they can take hope from the hangover Liverpool have been nursingsince their FA Cup semi-final defeat. Champions League qualification is fading from view for Brendan Rodgers’ men. Steven Gerrard, having been rested for the midweek defeat at Hull City, is available to make his penultimate Anfield appearance. Andy Hunter

Very sad to hear about Rio Ferdinands wife passing away.

    Too much perspective.

QPR should get some from this. Dead rubber game for Liverpool and the players have given up already

I know what your saying but QPR really are brutal away from home.

If there is a plane with a banner at this game I will smash heads.

Everyone should relax and remember that QPR are a dreadful side who have lost lots of games this season. We play at all well, we win.

Gerrard excepted; the starting XI should only involve players likely to be here next year, particularly those that haven't seen much / any game time. The game has to mean something personally to everyone at the pitch at this stage, and involve them being motivated to play for and impress the current manager.

I've been saying it for a while now, Gerrard should be nowhere near the starting 11.

The remaining games are irrelevant now, barring putting in good performances, a little sentimentality should be afforded to a departing legend.

Id rather win games and guarantee European football for next season, sentiment can wait until the last game.

I'd ditch the whole front end and play Kent for Sterling, Ojo for Borini, and Sinclair for Lambert in a 4-4-2 diamond with Brannagan for Gerrard.

Gerrard is someone who will have huge motivation to win and play well in his last two home games. Remember Carra cracking one off the bar from the parking lot in his last home game? Football can still be a magical thing if you let it be.

    Combination eleven anyone?

    Austin, Barton, anyone else?

    Better get your cricket bat/baseball bat/hurley/length of 4x2 ready then;

Liverpool fans copying Man U fans' example. Never thought I'd see the day.

Its a shame he hasn't been motivated to bother his arse all season.

That's what I thought when I first heard about it yesterday. Then again, I thought the same thing when I heard about the Moyes banner (no, not the "chosen one" one!).

A knock out manager got liverpool ahead or arsenal half the time. Not bad for a knockout manager against an arsenal side supposed to be in their prime.

There was supposed to be a banner in November as well. Turned out to be bull****.

    2006-2010 was Arsenals prime? What?

There's something quite hilarious about thousands of people booing a plane. I look forward to that bit :)

I haven't watched Liverpool play since the Arsenal match and swore I wouldn't watch them again this season. I'm absolutely shattered after working a 12 hour shift and should really go to bed. But................................it's QPR at Anfield. 2nd last game of season at home against a really bad team. Could be my last time watching a Liverpool legend play his last game for the Reds. I have to watch it, don't I??? What's the worst can happen?

Have people forgot Rafa football already?

Mind numbingly boring football, rotation rotation rotation, about 10 players signed a season, mind numbingly boring football, crazy substitutions, mind numbingly boring football.

At least Rodgers side offers good wholesome family entertainment.

The invincibles team was 2004 and Rafa came in the season after so it wasn't a bad arsenal team.

    That team is uninspiring.

  • A plane? The slagging it recieved?
Oh how the tides have turned

Serious note: Hoping QPR can put in a good performance in honour of Rio's Wife. RIP
