There should be a new championship in between the Ring and Rackard cups just for Armagh. They have won all but 1 of the matches they have played in the Rackard since 2007, but at the same time have never won a single Ring cup match. Their level seems to exist on a razors edge in between the 2 competitions.

I have been shocked at the scoreline today,Kildare have always been a tough nut to crack in Newbridge but for whatever reason today everything has gone wrong,last year they caused our backs all sorts of problems in the final and was expecting a lot tighter game today

The throw-in times for next Saturday’s Nicky Rackard, Lory Meagher and Christy Ring Cup finals have been confirmed.

The Croke Park triple-header gets underway at 1.30pm with the meeting of Armagh and Roscommon in the Rackard Cup final at 1.30pm. That will be followed by the Meagher Cup decider between Fermanagh and Sligo at 3.30pm.

The Ring Cup final between Kerry and Derry throws in at 5.30pm.
