    Prestigio Multipad 5197d ultra.

It won't boot. See picture for whatever.
Tried the hard reset and all that.
    Any other suggestions, please?

Is it picked up by a pc? Or can you get it into a recovery mode?

Hold volume up, or down, or both, and then try to power on while holding them down, and see if it gets you anywhere

My pc is picking it up as an Android device, but won't install the driver. Tried troubleshooting, but that didn't help.

I've tried the other thing you mentioned, but that didn't help either.

    So you've no display then?

There is a display. See the picture above.
I tried holding down both the volume buttons as you suggested (I read it wrong the first time), and got a menu.

Reboot, factory reset and a few other options.
The instructions were not too clear, and I ended up rebooting it. Now the battery is dead.
I have it on charge, but holding both volume buttons and the start button seems to be the solution.
I'll get back with the results in an hour or so.

    Cheers.

    Job done.
    Thank you very much.

Factory reset from the menu after holding down both volume buttons worked.
