How's Donald Trump doing in the darts, Skid?

Billy Bingham is ahead. It's like Windsor Park 1993 all over again.

Where is Alan McLoughlin when you need him?

    He's 43-6 down... :o:D;)

The Test match between the West Indies and England is pretty exciting, too - no less than 17 wickets have fallen today. :o:D;)

Trumps Burger King badge makes it look like he's just been to his friends 10th birthday party

England would be happy to get to 43-6 :(. Jimmy Anderson might have to work his magic again

The old stereotype of nursing homes are long gone...

We don't treat old people with the respect they and we deserve. It's a matter of communication as far as I can see.

I've no problem with not being a burden in the future personally.

The problem, as far as I can see, it's deemed to be a "off-load" in some cases but not necessarily so if the parent can't cope or, indeed, the child/ren themselves.

I think this lady is pretty pragmatic.

It's no excuse for dropping your Mam and/or Dad off to a house and there it ends though...

    Money matters though!!

Nice bed, a man could have a lady on each side and still sleep comfortably.

Fair play to Stuart Bingham. I thought he was gone after the last frame. Some very good plants in that last frame.

Shame that Michaela Tabb has left the circuit. :(

Would have loved to have seen her refereeing an 18-17 World final. (She did referee two World finals, but they finished 18-9 and 18-11 respectively.)

    Meanwhile, well done Bingham. :):):)

€100 a week versus €1000 a week, it's a no brainer to encourage more of these facilities to be built.

There will be a huge number of elderly people in Ireland, compared to people of working age and children before too long.

It's a demographic time bomb. Social Welfare won't be able to cope.

Do any old folks homes have bars where you could have a few pints a week or would they be all dry?

Was just wondering that myself. I suppose when I have the car parked out front, I might as well hop down to Aldi for a few cans of Galahad, sneak them into the room, cause a bit of commotion after downing one or two, I'd say by the time I'm that age I'd be out for the count after two cans

There is an old folks home near me where a famous elderly man stays as he has Dementia, apparently he loves a pint or two and is often driven into our local for a drink which he really enjoys (and deserves)
