Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Are accessories for Garmin edge 500 suitable for Garmin Edge 705?

    My Garmin HRM and my power meter works with both my 500 and my 705.
    On a side note-
    I prefer my 705 even though its bigger and older.
    It picks up my HRM,PM and the satelites reception quicker than the 500.

    Both models use ANT+ so they should both be compatible with any ANT+ sensor.

    The mounts are different though. In particular the 705 won't work with any standard out-front mount as they use the quarter-turn fitting for the 500 and similar units (you can use the 705 in standard out-front mounts with this adaptor though).
