Mobile home plumbing problem

I couldn't find a dedicated mobile home forum so here goes...

End of season last year, my daughter asked me to help "winterise" her mobile home... I volunteered to bleed the system...

I switched off the water, Got underneath the wagon, found a few outlet levers( 3 in total I think), opened the valves and left the system drain. I left the levers in the open position.

This weekend she returned, turned on the water (not realising that I left the valves open). She closed the valves & turned on the water again.

Taps etc worked fine but the water didn't heat. The shower also runs cold. It also appears that there is no water in the rads.

Did I mess up her system by bleeding off too much water? Could there be a bad airlock in her system?? What can I do to clear the airlock??? Should we put anti freeze in the rads and how?

Thanks for any help / advise. I may be in big trouble with my daughter!!! 😅

Is the boiler firing up? Did you drain the boiler to start with? I haven't come across a camper with radiators filled with water, any I've seen have a hot air heater. Is it a separate water heater and heater for "central heating"? A little more info may help in a diagnosis!

Thanks for the reply... It's not a camper... It's a 38 foot stationary caravan type mobile home. When I was draining the water system I must've drained the heating system as well...

Sorry didn't read the post properly. Sounds as though you have an air lock somewhere, presumably you will have to bleed each rad as well.
