Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    do you sew?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,813 ✭✭✭chrysagon

    nope...

if sewing was your hobby, would you admit it?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Probably not TBH...but I would not have the patience for sewing.

Is today going to be a good day?

    Sure is!

If your mothers aunt died (your godmother) and you didn't talk much to her, would you still go to the funeral

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I would go. Its not really about the dead person, but about showing support for her family. But every family is different...

Would you be taking advice from randomers on the internet?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Wouldn't be that bothered with her family either so that answers that! So I guess I do take strangers advice??

Last time you had a stranger danger talk

Last time someone warned me about talking to strangers? A long long time ago.
Yeah I'm always open to other people opinions

How far would you travel for your hobby or favourite food?

For food I would travel a distance. For my hobby - not too far.

Would a back packing holiday in south america appeal to you?

No there's literally nothing appealing at all about that

    Do you get migraines

    Do you get migraines
Only when I have a hangover, but not sure that that counts.

Yeah why not well I wouldn't have money to travel that far in the near future

Would you let someone else pay for your trip?

Yup, I am very flexible when it comes to accepting gifts.

If you were going to lunch in a posh eatery would you make the effort to dress up....even if you did not really want to go?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yes. Always dress up. Life is too short not to dress up.

Why do they only serve muck on those posh menus

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I would not call it muck...minimalist is more appropriate.

Are you trying to put me off going so you can go in my place?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

No you're alright, there's never anything I'd eat on it. Phucking pheasant, I mean really??! Manky.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen on a menu

Jelly fish. Live eel. Tree bark. Rabbit. I worked in china for a month and ate all kinds of horrible muck. Worst is that in sea food places the downstairs of the restaurant is an aquarium an you pick out your live fish which they then kind of cook for you. Once had a still pulsing fish put on my plate. Disgusting.

Does that make you feel sick?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    That's absolutely disgraceful. Nasty.
Would you have a heart attack if someone put a live eel in front of you

No, I wouldn't...but I would not be fckin eating it either. In those places it is so hard to order food as the fish in the aquariums are looking at you, trying to make friends with you...hoping you will not pick them. I ate a lot of rice in china....just rice.

    @Black_F - No!!!

Have you been out and about yet today?

To a certain extent. But if you can't find what you want then it is frustrating.

Would you get rid of clothes that are a bit small for you or hang on to them in the hope that you will lose weight some day?

The Louis Walsh Cadbury's one is enough to make anyone want to throw sulphuric acid in their eyes. After liberally dousing Louis in it of course.

Will you be rooting for Edward Hutch on Winning Streak?
