Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sipping on a white wine and listening to music.

What was your favourite day this week so far and why?

Yesterday, by a mile. Had lunch in a restaurant that went on all day and waddled drunkenly home at about 8 with a big belly and a big smile on my face.

Do you show your teeth when you smile - or lips firmly closed?

    What made you laugh today?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Nothing! I have been like a bear with a sore head all day and not one giggle has happened. And that is strange for me.

If you were not working would you watch afternoon tv?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,768 ✭✭✭✭tomwaterford

Listening to two lads in work who got lost coming back from a sat nav course trying to explain it :pac:

Could you sleep in a darkened room where you can hear a daddy long legs flying about :(

They're okay, I guess. I don't jump up and down when I see one.

Is this a good time of day for a cup of coffee?

I want to sleep, but the neighbours wont allow it.

Ever wish you could move to the country?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Sometimes, but I do like it where I am right now. Would like to have a wee place down the country to escape to every now and again.

Are you doing anything exciting for the weekend?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Not this weekend, just spending it with my family.

Do you blow out for your birthday

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I would always mark it in a significant way.

Is your birthday coming up soon?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    9 days

    Is that soon

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

It is soon. I love the anticipation in the days coming up to my birthday....sometimes that can be better than the event it'self.

Should we be sending a card?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yes if it has cash in it

    Will it?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    Yes it will. Monopoly cash.

Do you think people who 'work from home' are dossers?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

No, when I work from home it's far from slacking

When did you last play monopoly

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Do you have a freezer full of food that will never be eaten?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yeah I'm weird in that I buy food and put it in the freezer but hate using anything from the freezer because it's not "fresh".

    Do you waste money

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Yeah, I do. But then I would be mad tight too...bit of a conflict going on there.

Are you raring for a battle , or feeling at peace with hte world at the moment?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Very at peace but would have no problem going to battle with someone who thought I was a pushover

    Are you happy it's Friday

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Absolutely yes. The weekend is a blank canvas awaiting a lick of paint.

Ever have trouble thinking of a good question to ask on this thread?

Ever get sad when you have to throw away an old worn piece of clothing that was, for a long long time, your favourite garment?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

I hate throwing away clothes even if I never wore it.

Do you think parents rely way too much on other people to look after their kids/protect them from unsuitable things instead of doing it themselves

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I dont think too deeply about it. For me- parents own all that responsibility and they are responsible to make sure anyone looking after their kids have enough cop on to keep the child safe. But I would not be taking my advice on this subject to be honest.

Black out curtains in your bedroom?
