Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ummm, no. I don't like that song. :o

Ever buy something expensive or unnecessary in a shop and think to yourself "What have I done?" as you are walking out?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

No, I just keep receipt there's always refund option if I changed my mind

What was your latest purchase and are you happy with it?

Apart from edible things, the last thing I purchased is a pair of white 108 inch waxed skate laces. Last "big" purchase was Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 phone. Happy with both, although it'll take around a week until I get those laces.

Ever mix random ingredients (without recipe or planning in advance) hoping it will turn out delicious in the end?

I HAD a chair my dad made out of a tree trunk, would have looked lovely at the bottom of a garden. Which is what my Uncle thought too, and he stole it from my Dad's house shortly after he died.

Should I go shopping today, or stay home and avoid the crowds?

Are you a make from scratch cook, or jars and packets ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I love cooking from scratch. Currys especially. Am doing a Guinness and steak casserole now....but I have to admit that I did not brew the Guinness from scratch!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

No, nothing has ever happened to me at work that would make me want to cry. Worst that could happen is that I lose my job, but I would actually love that as a big payout would be all mine (redundancy).

I was knocked off my motorbike in town here in 2005. It wasn't a fast crash thankfully but I still went flying. Nothing broken or anything though thankfully, just a bit beat up. The bike was damaged a bit though.

Ever have hassle with someone after a car crash? Like them not paying or lying etc.
