Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That I'm hot and spicy!

I was knocked off my motorbike in town here in 2005. It wasn't a fast crash thankfully but I still went flying. Nothing broken or anything though thankfully, just a bit beat up. The bike was damaged a bit though.

Ever have hassle with someone after a car crash? Like them not paying or lying etc.

I was in a Fender bender with a drunk driver in the states. I took pity on him and did not call the cops. But then he tried to stiff me for the cost of repairing my car. It turned out he was not insured. But he did pay up, in cash, after I threatened to sue him...as you do in the US!

Have you ever appeared in court as a defendant, plantiff or witness?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 43,891 ✭✭✭✭Hugo Stiglitz

Not in court but I made a complaint to Rights Commissioners my employer didn't want to pay me and I won the case

Would you want to know details?

No pressure if you don't wanna.

    Do you?

No... I think "most" people are pretty decent... I still hate people though.

For 10 grand could you go without your phone or Internet access (outside work hours if you rely on it there) for an entire year?

    Does flossing make you gag?

No it takes something much bigger and thicker than a piece of floss to make me gag

I've never tried to throw a knife, though I've often felt like throwing one at someone!

In a way. I'm rather shy at times but I do like to talk to people when I get comfortable.

    Are you currently in love?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I am indeed lucky to be in love.

Would you go for a walk in the rain just to feel the nice fresh rain on your head? Or is that a bit mad?!

I am from the UK and on many occasions find myself asking why Irish people still go on about it.

What colour socks do you wear?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

What is the last beverage you had?

Sometimes I would. I'd need electricity and an archive of the internet. Also, I'd like food to magically appear.

Do you own a dedicated blu-ray player?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

No, I don't. I think blu-ray never really caught on and will die out very soon.

Do you chew chewing gum regularly?

Yes, almost everyday. Always have to chew gum when driving for some reason.

When driving alone, do you prefer pumping tunes, or a silent car ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

It depends on my mood. Generally in the morning I like a good talk show. But in the evenings or weekends then a good loud tune is deadly.

Do you have a good sense of direction?
