Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Answered this once here already. There are lots and lots of different planets besides Earth, so surely this can't be the only planet with living beings on it. A lot of people associate the word alien with a green midget - I don't think that's what they look like.

    Do you know your neighbours?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Mesrine65

Not really, I keep myself to myself.

I've been in the same house for 20+ years & don't know the name of the road next to mine :o

Are you socially outgoing or a bit of a hermit?

Physically I'm a hermit, can't stand going out on the lash wasting money on buying yourself a hangover. It's what children do the first few months on leaving home the first time. Adults have no business at that craic. But otherwise, I'm a very approachable person, and I can carry a conversation no bother.

Is that what you meant? :p

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Mesrine65

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a social recluse with a very small inner circle, so I can't throw stones ;)

    Regards the partying, I'm still a man-child :o

Brew my own beer, grow my own weed, still party like a teenager despite hitting the half century, old habits die hard! :o :pac:

What makes you happy, what makes you sad?

Spending time with my brother and OH = happy
    Feeling alone = sad

Are you close to your siblings?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Mesrine65

No unfortunately, I'm the eldest by a long shot & I've lost a few siblings in between, what's left are a lot younger than me...different values :(

Do you believe in 'the age gap'?

Nah, not at all, age is just a number in my opinion. I have friends who are a lot older and a lot younger than me, and I get on with them all, plus OH is a good 7 years older than I am. It's all good.

    Do you?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭Mesrine65

    Hell no, I don't discriminate ;)

Grow old gracefully or disgracefully? :D

I definitely used to but I'm more into comfort nowadays, although, pretty-comfort. I'm not at granny-pants just yet.

What's the nicest thing you can cook?
