Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yep, love it. Used it first to get a Nook eReader from UK for €36. Used it a few times since. Even helped us out with a late arriving tent for EP and was able to collect it in HQ to save time.

What was your last online purchase?
A custom petrol tank for a chopper I'm building.

Did you have a good day today?

What type of sense of humour do you have ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

I'm a man! I'll laugh at ridiculous things. I hear someone say something and I'll have a retort in my head that I can't say out loud but I'll grin away to myself. And I'm sharp with comebacks. On the spot, I have the best comebacks. My male friends think I'm funnier than my female friends think I am.

    Usually one or two somewheres.

How tall is too tall? How short is too short?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

My oh is 6'2 and that's very very tall. My ex "friend with benefits" was 6'5. That was too tall. Even in my highest shoes I was about over his shoulder. He gave the best hugs though. I would say being below 5'8 would be too short.

    What's your best feature

I've been told I have a nice smile. Pity everything else sucks! LOL

Yes, an elephant called Heffie. I will be absolutely devastated if anything ever happens him. He's been everywhere with me.

Taking naps during the night with awful back pain. Been up since half six. Wasn't worth going back to sleep when i wake up in pain.

    Watching TV now.

    What's for breakfast?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    Toast, eggs, tomatoes and coffee.

If someone came to your house and used but did not flush the toilet - would you call them on it?

Wine, vodka, cider. Not that fussy really.
I woke up last Monday after drinking so much vodka I'm surprised I didn't have a Russian accent.

    Are you a binge drinker

  • Registered Users Posts: 875 ✭✭✭jaded_pause

    Are you a binge drinker

No, I don't like alcohol at all, from the waste of money to the waste of brain cells, and then hangovers? For what? being drunk isn't even fun enough to warrant a hang over. But I don't judge people who do, everyone needs an escape.

    Did come across as judgmental?

Will my headache ever go away or do I have a brain tumour?

I buy frozen pizza 95% of the time and it's pretty cheap, imo. I've had a cardboard tasting pizza from a chipper for 4x the price.

I just did a Google search and it appears you have a sprained wrist and a heart attack caused by a massive diarrhea.

No, sunday is the day of rest in my house. Unless I have to nip to the shop. I'll throw on a pair of jeans.

If you were left to your own devices, what hours do you think you would keep re getting up and going to bed?

Up at 7.30 and away to bed at half 10/11...staying in late ruins/wastes the day IMO....there's graveyards full of people who'd gladly swop with you if you want to sleep in

    Were u out last night??

Nah, I'm healthy eating right now which includes no alcohol consumption for 8 weeks... 4 to go. Unfortunate as last night was apparently a really good night in the local (village GAA won a county championship)

Could you go out to the pub and not drink and still have a good night?

Ya...often did...though I prefer it sometimes...as it's easier to get away if your not drinking/bored
