Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I had a cold last week, not a bad one, just an annoying one.

What is annoying you most today?

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

    It's a bit nippy.

Were you on a bus today?

Were you on a bus today?

No. The last time I was on a bus was a few months ago to pick up my car, and it was a nightmare. 4 hours with 3 different buses. There are no trains going from here to there so yeah... safe to say I hate public transport.

Do you get the recommended amount of calories per day?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I do, and to be safe I have a few extra ones.

Can you touch your toes without bending your knees?

Yes, but only in recent years since I started running and stretching properly. Never could as a kid when I should've been more flexible.

What's the furthest you can run/jog without stopping?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

Longest I have ran is 8 km, with changing speed but not stopping.

How many pushups you can do at once?

    About 30.

What type of injuries do you think you'd inflict on yourself attempting a cartwheel?

I'd probably break my wrists , followed by my neck, after landing awkwardly on my head. I haven't attempted a cartwheel in years !

Can you do a handstand ?

A friend of mine trying to hide a surprise that I know and subtly calling him out on it... hard to explain.

Have you been caught looking an attractive person's bum? By them or your partner? How'd you handle it?

I only have one scarf and I know where it is, so I guess I do have it ready.

Why are they called baseball caps? Baseball is far from popular in Ireland. :P

What or who is the noisiest thing / person in your life?

Screaming children who live near me. SCREW THOSE LITTLE JERKS.

Do you need background noise or do you enjoy peace and quiet?

I enjoy peace and quiet. If I'm home or in the car alone, I won't even have the radio on.

When do you do your best thinking ?

Late a night - dim light, couch, tunes with a note pad and pen. Spend hours just doodling. The stuff that comes out would amaze and frighten in equal measures.

If you could spend a day being invisible or living a day with zero consequence - what would you pick
(Zero consequence - you can say, do anything you want without the usual ramifications - breaking the law, offending people etc - just totally free to do what you like)

Invisible, because I reckon I could get away with a lot if nobody can see me.

What's the thing in your life you're most embarrassed about?

    My kindness and humility.

Are you good at remembering names and faces?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,711 ✭✭✭Badly Drunk Boy

Yes, but probably even better at birthdays and numbers. Birthdays of people in my class in primary school, over 30 years ago. I'm probably mildly autistic. (I've done a few tests.)

What's the most northerly place you've been?
