Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have you ever followed a thread closely, without posting in it ?

Yep. I've religiously followed all of the YLYL threads but I never post because I'm scared I won't be funny :(

    Are you funny?

Yes, but not in a good way.

Have you ever laughed at a funeral?

Yes. A couple at least. One was my friends Nan's funeral and the priest was giving out gluten free communion. People thought it was a joke. It was not. Gluten free Jesus for anyone who needed it.
Other times usually just because of people telling funny anecdotes and sharing happy memories of the deceased.

    Are you afraid of death?

Felt a bit sorry for them.

PS I Love You. To be fair, the book was well done. Handled death honestly and with depth and explored family and romantic relationships in an interesting way. It is probably the only book by Cecilia Ahearn that I liked. The movie was just OTT diddly Oirish crap. I was embarrassed by it.

No one book stands out but I like the Ian Rankin Rebus series, Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, Brian Keenan's - An Evil Cradling is another that comes to mind.

    Famous Five or Secret Seven?

Quite a lot actually. I find humour in most things from slapstick all the way to very dark humour.... Which is strange in that I'm often battling with depression.
