Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When you're off work, and someone keeps texting you about work, would you be annoyed

Wouldn't happen in my current job but it never bothered me in previous jobs.

There is a distinction between potentially important info or an update that needs no decision. If I were being texted about tittle tattle or regularly having to deal with decision making at home then it would get a bit tedious alright.

What kind of work do you do?

No. I prefer them au naturale which does have the added benefit of people contemplating the motives of a bloke wearing toenail varnish.

Do you think that should be used to bully someone with? Is it something one should feel great shame for>?

All the time, my other half loves terrible movies that all have the same premise, 5 teens go to their parent's / friend's / aunt's cabin in the woods to escape for a weekend and get attacked by bigfoot / aliens / alien bigfoots (bigfeet?) and they all end up dying. I could write my own at this stage!

What do you hope santa will bring you this year?

New iPad would be nice... But with 7 kids I'll probably have to wait till January.

Has Christmas list the magic feeling for you? Or still as strong as ever?

Surely for adults it's the most stressful time of the year considering the expense, and for adults with small people to consider it's even worse. I've only family to buy presents for and I'm already dreading it.

Will it get it's sparkle back once I have little people to trick into behaving for santa?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,165 ✭✭✭Savage Tyrant

Some of the sparkle returns for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But the whole build up of December is completely lost. For me anyway.
