Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What's your favourite humming sound?

Would it be mmm-mmmmm or would it be mmmm-mm? The first one there, now thats the sound of a fridge humming and the second one, now thats the sound of a man humming. You never hear a woman humming. I knew a woman once, but she died soon afterwards. Now if you push me to it, I'd have to say my favourite colour is grey. No, blue. A soft blue with a hint of grey. No, orange. Yes, orange. I remember now. I had an extension put on the house, and I put it on the extension, so the house is in a circle now, you see...

    Who ate all the pies?

I'm sure it is in the city, but outside of it you're hoping for the best and expecting the worst every time you go to use it.

Have you ever been ice skating?

What do you do to exercise?

Not enough, but when I do it's walking and stretching.

If you could have more free time, what would you spend it doing ?

I have never been a gamer, I tried rally car games before but was totally useless. It almost put me off of learning to drive !

Do you get any recurring ailments ?

Spent the evening handing out unhealthy treats to generally unhealthy children. Doing my bit to help obesity in children in this country.

How come there is not a section in the supermarket for low calorie sweets and snacks aimed at children?

Because there's no market for those, the full fat ones are cheaper and (unfortunately) nicer.

    Feet up for the evening?

No (touch wood). I got speeding fine once when I lived in New Zealand but because I still had my Irish licence I never got the points! Not bad for 15 years of driving...

I have it on good authority that there's a starman waiting in the sky. He'd like to come and meet us but he thinks he'd blow our minds. There's a starman waiting in the sky. He's told us not to blow it, cause he knows it's all worthwhile. He told me: let the children lose it, let the children use it, let all the children boogie.

Probably because of how dangerous they are. If you turn one off on the iron, you might not realize how warm it might be. Having to plug it out from the wall/turn off at the switch makes you realize this more, I guess.

Do people still like poor old Angie these days?

She has been dead to me since she broke my heart and married Brad.

Who is your favorite actor/actress - either dead or alive? Base your answer on their acting ability, not looks!

I hate all mention of it before the first weekend in December. I understand that many families need to prepare early due to the expense.... That's fine, I'm talking about the trying to build excitement too early with decorations up 6/7 weeks before hand. It's fúcking stupid and it pretty much ruins the whole thing for me.

    Am I a grouch?

    Nope, I can relate though!

Is being a grouch a bad thing?
