Spent the evening handing out unhealthy treats to generally unhealthy children. Doing my bit to help obesity in children in this country.

No (touch wood). I got speeding fine once when I lived in New Zealand but because I still had my Irish licence I never got the points! Not bad for 15 years of driving...

Probably because of how dangerous they are. If you turn one off on the iron, you might not realize how warm it might be. Having to plug it out from the wall/turn off at the switch makes you realize this more, I guess.

I hate all mention of it before the first weekend in December. I understand that many families need to prepare early due to the expense.... That's fine, I'm talking about the trying to build excitement too early with decorations up 6/7 weeks before hand. It's fúcking stupid and it pretty much ruins the whole thing for me.
