Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of all of them because no day is ever perfect and retrospect is a great thing.

Do you look at people and judge them without realising it?

Do you look at people and judge them without realising it?

I do. I've had to make an effort to train myself to reassess my first impressions of people.
Before hand I often judged on first impressions and often took an immediate dislike to someone who probably didn't deserve it.

Have you ever taken an immediate dislike to someone?

Not really. I give everyone a chance.

If you saw someone falling around drunk at 8 am how would that instinctively make you feel?

    Jealous.

What's the biggest ambition you've realised?

    Disdain or contempt.

    Is that harsh?

Being published, getting a First Class Honours with serious illness and training to be a chef plus being offered two MAs in decent universities.

Does anyone actually understand how difficult illness is to overcome or do they just not give a rats ass?

    (No it's not harsh)

I think sometimes if an illness isn't something obvious, for example, someone is in a wheelchair, some people don't understand. If the person looks just like everyone else they can't grasp that something serious could possibly be wrong. I hope it's not that they don't care!

What colour is your hand bag / man bag :) ?

I have a laptop bag that is dark brown leather.

Would you go for quality or quantity?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    Quality.

Buy cheap buy twice. Agree or disagree

Completely agree. I just wish I could remember that all the time as sometimes I go cheap.

Would you hate, or love, to live with someone who agrees with everything you say?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    Oh god! I'd love it!!

How likely is that to ever happen

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Depends on how browbeaten your OH can become.

Ever sit for ages waiting for ticketmaster to start selling tickets to a gig you really want to go to?

Try to say 'bubbles' angrily. It can't be done.

If someone offered you a weekend break, leaving at 4pm today in a European city, where would you go?

    To the airport.

Do you think it's odd that liquids under 100ml aren't explosive but that ones over 100ml are?

Not when they are dirty and wet and slurping at their genitals on my living room floor.

IS it ok to complain about something if you didn't pay for it?

Absolutely. Never refuse a good opportunity to have a moan.

Mm I probably would because I think I'd be worried something happened

What's the tackiest thing you can think of

Young girls wearing PJs and Ugg boots, the Paul's Boutique jacket and off into town on a bus.

    Sound tacky enough?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,525 ✭✭✭magic_murph

Was thinking johnny logan but PJs & Uggs is good enough

Is it wrong that I think of dumping my girlfriend every time she watches Geordie Shore. (Most pointless thing on TV)

Would an Icelandic tent count? In that case last year. I couldn't tell you the last time I was in a 'real' marquee. 2012 maybe.

Do you own a sleeping bag?

I do. I was looking for it recently and couldn't find it so my first answer may be a lie.

Do you prefer the ring of Kerry or the Wicklow gap?

Its not a choice I have challenged myself with to be honest. Both are lovely.

I think not. I didn't think many people used PC's at home anymore. It's all iPads and tablets and laptops at a push.

    What is Santa bringing you?

I don't know yet, I'm ready to be surprised. My brother is getting me a PC game I've had my eye on for a month or so.

Do you have a list yet?

    Nay to all foreigners
Only joking - ya in small batches.

Have you ever been so drunk you cried for no apparent reason.
