Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are you able to do any tricks with a yo-yo?

If it's a decent one I can make it keep spinning at the bottom until I flick it back up but beyond that it just does it's own thing if I try anything else.

Given the choice to be less intelligent but blissfully happy in your ignorance, or keep your current intelligence and all the trip-falls and unhappiness that comes with it, what would you choose?

I think I'm quite averagely intelligent so I have the best of both worlds anyway.

Did you get wet this morning heading out to face the world?

No, I managed to jump in to the car which was 2 feet away from our front door and then got parking right beside the door at work. So was thankfully nice and dry.

How many times, if any, did you leave these shores during 2015?

Not once, unfortunately. Unless Enniskillen counts? Because if it does then.. once.

Do you get restless if you've not been away for an extended period of time?

    What's your longest flight?

19 hours, to Perth last year. Though will be topping that with 24.5 hours at the end of the year to Melbourne.

    Do you like flying?

Yeah it wouldn't bother me because I'm freakishly good with dates

What's the most you'd spend on a haircut

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I find that putting a price on a decent haircut is a fools errand. Money should not be an object when it comes to your hair.

    Does that sound plausible?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    Yes

Do you spend much on your hair

I get it cut for 8 quid plus a tip so eh...8 quid.
That and a bottle of shampoo every so often and that's about it.

Would you consider a hair transplant?

No, I've a lot of hair. Thick and wavy masses of the stuff.

Would you shave your hair for charity?

The hair on my head - yeah, but I doubt it would raise too much money as I have a very close cut anyway.

What will you be up to this evening?

Waiting patiently for midnight to play Fallout 4 on ps4 into the wee small hours.

Is that sad for a 34 year old?

The only thing sad is that you have to wait until midnight.

    Are you a good swimmer?

  • Registered Users Posts: 875 ✭✭✭jaded_pause

    Are you a good swimmer?

I am indeed, I was very young when I learned how, and where I grew up they did regular swimming certificates etc, I even did the thing where you have to collect weights from the bottom of the deep end in your jammies. That was a fun day!

Would you encourage people who do not know how to swim to learn?

I would, but it would be very hypocritical of me as I never learned to myself :). At this stage my attitude is I don't intend to ever be in water, so I'll never drown.

    Am I misguided ?

Not misguided no, I would say don't knock it til you try it though, swimming is a lot of fun and it's true, the best sort of exercise you could ever get. And I mean it's SO much fun. Also, I find I dream that I can breathe under water when I've been swimming which in itself is a lot of fun too!

    Have I convinced you? :D
