Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No I absolutely get the sense of weird isolation that you get living out rural. At least the rent is cheap!

Are you putting something off that you should really get sorted?

    Yes, Christmas!

Got anything exciting happening this weekend?

I do and its practically worn out. My statement is several pages long.

Do you buy yourself anything for Christmas?

May, I guess. Don't know, don't really have one.

Restaurant, take away or home cooked meal tonight for dinner?

I like fresh tasty home made food

Ever met anyone who was born the same day as you?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭LucaDat

Not the same year, but on the same day of the month, yeah.

Would you change your birthday, if you could?

Nah...I'm happy enough with where it is :)

Do you have anyone to visit/do stuff with on your birthday or do you prefer to spend it alone

Yes, we are starting the weekend away for the ohs birthday, so just staying in the hotel away from everyone and out of the cold.

    Prefer country or city living?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Working and socialising in the city but can't beat living in the country

Would you rather a beautiful house in a rural location or an average house in a prime location

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,152 ✭✭✭✭KERSPLAT!

It'd depend on how rural but I think i'd prefer that. If it's within 10 minute drive of a shop and has decent internet I'm happy!

Where/how did you get/choose your username?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Onrale, because I'm self aware, and on rale. Like a train.
(Unreal for those of you not boggers)

How are you at holding your sneezes in

Really good but my head feels funny afterwards so I don't like doing it.

    Strawberry or raspberry jam?

Do you like pineapple on your pizza?

Pineapple is one of my favourite foods but it has no business on a pizza

No, but I tend to purse my lips and shift them to the left side of my face! I just attempted to concentrate and stick my tongue out and forgot to open my mouth so I don't think it's in my make up!

Whats the best book you've ever read?

A book from the 70s I think about this average guy who lived with his mother in a B&B by the sea side and accidentally became a serial killer. It was beautifully written. I can picture the cover and all, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. If I find it I'll come back and let you know!

Do you have a good memory?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 43,891 ✭✭✭✭Hugo Stiglitz

Do you have a good memory?

Sometimes. Seems to depend on how stressed I am.

Ever spray paint your teeth like in Mad Max: Fury Road?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    No, not knowingly!

Why are you up so early?

I don't have the luxury of deep sleeps anymore, even on a mini break

Is it as cold today as it was yesterday

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Its colder according to my temperature gauge thingy. 1.3 degrees in the garden...But if you are on a weekend away you would hardly notice!

Would you like to see snow?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yes, tbh. When I'm home. And when I can lay on the couch to a blazing fire with hot chocolate, in my pjs, not having to go outside.

Do you ever worry for a second about deep sleepers so asleep they could actually be dead?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Only if they are in a drunken coma.

Do you leave money (ie Tips) in hotel rooms for the cleaners?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

No, just tip for room service

Do you have breakfast in bed or do you go downstairs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I always go downstairs as am usually rushing in the morning and no time to be waiting for room service.

Ever go somewhere and the hotel was so nice that you did not leave it for a few days?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yes but it wasn't the interior design that kept me in there!

Do you like this time of year

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Winter! Knee high boots, oversized soft jumpers, snooods, capes. Dayum I'm all over that.

Do you buy a lot of clothes

Probably not enough. I buy very little very rarely.

How many cups of tea and/or coffee do you usually have a day?

I don't drink coffee. I might have 2-4 cups of tea in a week, if even.

Do you have any exams coming up?

Do you like the smell of cinnamon?

    No, I love it!

    What's the best dinner?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

Don't know if there's such a thing as best dinner. Lots of very good options. I'm not a very picky eater too so I eat a lot of different things.

    Donuts. Yay or nay?
