Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A few times! Usually the TV, when my hands are full and I can't help it balance, and it wobbles and I'm all SORRY SORRY GOD PLEASE DON'T FALL. It's worked so far.
Do you get wrecked at your Christmas party?

Last one I attended I left after 20 minutes. I couldn't stand any of them and I had no idea why I would spend more time with them than I needed to.

Would you like to teach English as a foreign language somewhere like South Korea or Japan?

Never, but I'd love to see Japan.

    Do you like spicy food?

Very very mild I can eat but anything even medium hot usually makes me drink sof water and I feel like my mouth is about to ignite. The spicy Pringle flavour does that to me, like Texas bbq

Ever been on a drip? Or rather, had a drip on you?

No never but my other half was and driving behind the ambulance in my car was nerve wracking because as soon as they put the sirens on, I knew it was serious.
    Luckily he was alright.

Do you prefer Roses or Quality Street?

That reminds me of a story I once heard. So there was a knight on his white horse err black horse and as was riding through the hills or was it the forest? Look, I'll double check and come back to you...

Have the oh light the open fire. Send him out grocery shopping. Let him cook dinner, then be affectionate this evening so he's not grumpy with me for doing nothing.

Would you win an award for best oh?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,465 ✭✭✭✭cantdecide

Would you win an award for best oh?

In fair weather, I'd be pretty good. At the moment, no. I don't have time to be a bad OH. It's quite sad that my last relationship ended largely due to my fluctuating between being zero time and zero money so had one hand tied behind my back which sucked for all involved.

What's the nicest thing your OH has done for you?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

He does lots of nice things, he buys little things he sees that he'd know I love (like Minnie Mouse pjs), he will defend me even when he'll tell me I was wrong, he knows what bothers me, and on occasion when someone's given me a backhanded compliment hell have cut them in two with a sarcastic comment before I even have a chance to be offended. He brings me away for spa weekends when he knows I'm sad (parents birthdays/anniversaries) and even when we weren't together, he always looked out for me, much better than any other guy I was messing about with would. He's absolutely 100% my best friend.

Do you think a family who pray together stays together? :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,821 ✭✭✭fussyonion

    No.
As a kid I was forced to go to Mass when I hated it.
Now, as an adult, I don't have any faith in the Catholic church and I'll live my life how I see fit, without prayer, thank you very much.

    Summer holiday or city break?

Absolutely. There's still loads of stuff in Ireland I'd like to see. You could easily spend two weeks in Ireland.

What's your favourite place to visit in Ireland?

Yup. I have a twin brother who had terrible acne as a teenager and I would always get the odd one or two. Many years later, he's grand and I still get the same occasional one or two.

    What height are you?

Yes. I live in the middle of nowhere, so there's trees, bushes, lots of plants and grass all around.

What's the highest mountain you've ever climbed?

    Visited the temple in Muktinath.

Technically I am approx. 2500 KM away from home right now.

What sort of music do you listen to?

I listen to both types; country and western.

Music was one of my foremost passions in my younger days and I played in bands and stuff. I tend to fall back on rock and metal but I'll give anything a go.

    And you?
