Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, not until after the 8th december.

What goes on top of your tree? A Fairy? A Star? A selfie?

A fairy. I really do not understand this selfie business. Why would announce to the entire world how narcissistic you are?!

    What is your favourite smell?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Because I'm the star of that house!
My favourite smell is orchids and petrol

    Are you shy

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Shyness is not the first word people would use to describe me.

What is the first word people would use to describe you?

"Who? Oh, yeah she's alright." I'd imagine.

Do you get road rage with trollies in Tesco?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yes. To a certain point I'll remain calm but there's only so many times I'm going to allow some aul one with a blue rinse to bash into me or the trolley, or so many times I'm going to shop my trolley to give way to brats running up and down the aisles. I tend to have a 3 strikes and you're out attitude. Gonna run out in front of me? Go ahead, but I won't stop. You'll be running into a metal moving object

Are you ever judged for your lack of tolerance on any subject

    I completely agree with that!

Largely I'm extremely patient, there's only a few things that really get my goat, and one of those things is queue skipping. Good lord don't dare skip the queue or I will look incredibly indignant and huff out and roll my eyes and tut.

    Are you a patient person?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I am to a certain extent. And I am getting a lot more patent as I get more...eh...mature.

But my issue is that when I lose my patience then BANG. Its gone and I lose the head big time.

    Do you have a temper?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

I know this would come as a shock to most, but by and large I would not describe myself as patient.

    Menas: yes, I'm a fireball.

    Are you a blunt person?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Not really. I am fairly polite in real life but my oldest friends used to call me 'Straight talkin Menas'. That could have been a joke though.

Does your mouth say things before your brain has had a chance to filter it?

Mm, not really. I mean, I can definately unleash a tirade of abuse but I never really regret doing it.

Funniest thing that's ever happened to you

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

3am in the arsehole of nowhere in Turkey. Sitting in a taxi but the taxi driver is drunker than I am and is asleep. Took about 90 minutes to wake the fcker up. I had a couple of his beers while waiting.

What was the last thing that surprised you?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

How much you're taken advantage of and how much is expected of you when you help someone out because you feel bad for them. Suddenly it goes from a favour to something that's assumed you'll do, and more.

Is that something that happens you

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

No, I don’t think that is something that happens to me. Definitely did not happen the last time I did someone a good deed. I helped them understand the move from punt to the euro.

Is your boards personality similar to you real life personality?

How big we talking? I went shopping for a winter jacket there last weekend and came back with two. Before that, I bought myself a PC for around €1300.

Are you watching the new series of Fargo?
