Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Most of my life.

How old were you when you went on your first flight?

Two, as far as I know.

What is the longest flight you have been on?

    What was your first phone?

It was some kind of Motorola. Would have been around 12/13 years ago now. I thought I was the business with it. I wonder if I could find the model online. :p

    EDIT: It was a Motorola T2288 http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_talkabout_t2288-82.php

Going to New York. It's around 7 hours over. Less coming back.

What is your favourite food to order from any takeaway?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 139 ✭✭The_fever

Indian without a doubt, bombay pantry chicken curry hot to be precise

Have you ever robbed a car

Indian, my choice of main varies but I love getting a load of poppadoms, bhajis, peshwari naan, saag aloo and all the dips etc DELICIOUS!

    What about yourself?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I wouldn't know what to order in a take away. I always feel under pressure if I have to make the call.

I do like a Thai green curry.

Do you like hot spicy food?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭The Pheasant2

    Love it

Would you rather be blind, or deaf and paralysed from the waist down?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Blind probably though they're very grim options

Did you have a good sleep last night

Went swimming (in a pool) yesterday evening so I slept like a baby.

What time do you get up at?

Was up at about 4 and again at 7

Rudeness, bad personal habits (be it routinely stinking of BO, nose picking in public or people who sniffle and snort constantly) *shudder*. Oh and people who don't just answer a question directly but give some weird vague and evasive answer. I should really move this reply to the TA thread.

    What makes you supremely happy?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    Knowing that I am deadly!

Have you been out and about enjoying this lovely day?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,111 ✭✭✭Jamaican Me Crazy

Nope. I'm a slave of corporate greed. Stuck in work for the day.

Have you been to any Christmas markets?

    Not as yet.

    What is eggnog?

An online recipe tells me it is eggs, sugar, milk, cream, nutmeg and bourbon. I think it sounds mank.

    Would you try it?

I'd try a sip out of curiosity.

    Do you have any trophies?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

A trophy wife is all I have.

Do you keep your car clean and tidy- or is it a bit like Syria in there?

Ah no it's not as bad as Syria. It's a bit like Drumcondra the day after the All Ireland.

Keeping with the car theme - what would be your dream car?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

1964 Jaguar E type. In factory condition.

Would that car tingle your tingly bits?

The only car to tingle my tingly bits would have to have -oline on the end of it.

    Four-five times a week.
My GP thought I was nuts when I told him yesterday, but I love the gym.
I've lost over 3 stone in 6 months and I can't believe I've done it when I've enjoyed the process so much.

I find a Dublin Liberties female accent rather irresistible. One I can't stand is one or two of the local Waterford accents.

Ever chat to a unionist online or in person?

Have you lied on your cv?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yeah I haven't listed all my personal achievements, play it down a bit ya know, don't want them to think I'm above them or anything :D

Do you remember the last really satisfying burp you've had

Depends on the person. Can be just a nod to a full blown handshake, air kiss etc etc..

Yes, I am pretty sure I could be even more self assured. Sure I am deadly so I am.

Could you protect yourself in a fight?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Yeah. I can run fast while shouting obscenities.

    Can you pack a punch?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

No, I would have nothing but a fiery temper and an acid tongue to defend myself. I seem to have absolutely no upper body strength. I've never ever been in a physical altercation, but I've come close and although I know I'd have my ass handed to me, I would not back down. When I punch my brother, I close my fist and hit him on his back or chest and he doesn't even seem to notice I'm striking him.

Are you a little less scared of me now?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Just a little. You still have that acid tongue though.

Do you need to win at all costs, or are you ok with losing every now and then?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    No, I'm better with winning

    Can you pick your battles

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

On a scale of 1-10 how stubborn can you be?
