Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Righty tighty leftie loosie... I know + to + and - to - but I can never remember which you do first to avoid sparks.

Ever heard of Google Cardboard? Just bought one and it's awesome.

How do you like your potatoes? Boiled? Mashed? Roasted? Chipped? Crisps?

Right now I have a craving for mashed potatoes with gravy.

If you could eat anything right now, what would it be?

    Savoury, I'm sweet enough :D

Train, plane, ferry or car, your favourite?

I desperately need a quiet night in and that is what I am having.

Do you fall asleep in front of the tv?

    Do you like camping?

Should I go camping? I'm not sure if I like the idea of going for a shyte outside.

No. And I find it hard to believe that anyone actually likes camping.

Could you start a fire without a lighter, matches or flint if you were stuck in the wild?

    I couldn't.

    Do rice krispie cakes count?

    Are you good at DIY?

I am excellent at DIY as it happens.

    Does something need fixing?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,400 ✭✭✭Medusa22

Yes, I need to replace the light bulb in the extractor fan!

Can you do this for me?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Not a bother. I would suggest spending a few quid extra and getting a LED one. They dont heat up you see...so they dont react with the steam as much...so they last longer...so less need to call a DIY'er round to your home.

    Can you sew?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Mm no. I can tell you jokes though while you try figure it out

    Do you think you'd laugh

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Without a doubt, unless I was the subject of your jokes.

    Would I be?

    No I can't sew

Have you needed to sew anything since 1988

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Edit: does that answer your question even though it was answering the one before it??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Yes, people sew. I can sew. Last thing I sewed was a hole in a pocket of a pair of jeans that I would be too sad to dump. I would not be a good sewer, but the hole is fixed.

Lucky man that gets me? Pffft. Behave yourself for once!

    Can you make yourself laugh?

What's the last medevil practice you've heard about, apart from sewing

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Thinking Geordie shore is the news is pretty medieval if you ask me!

Do you know when you are beat?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,400 ✭✭✭Medusa22

    I do!

    Do you watch the news?

Not usually, I like to read online newspapers instead.

    Bath or shower?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Prefer to be too warm or too cold

110mm Stanley light duty DIY swivel bench vice. I don't know what I was thinking buying it. Totally inadequate for my needs. I should have saved my money for a better one :(

What was the last DIY you did... yourself?

I removed all the locks on the doors in the house and gave the a good oiling and made them all easy to use again.

Trying to put together a flat pack nail station, and only having a hair brush to use as a hammer. Disaster

    Can you improvise
