Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Constantly.

Ever have to use a wheelchair?

Only for the duration of my insurance scam. It turns out that a wheelchair isn't considered a mechanically propelled vehicle and as such can't have a motor insurance policy acted on it so I had to give it up.

Not having a tattoo or having your tongue pierced? I don't think either of them are tacky.

Emotions don't really have an effect on my eating. I usually eat when I'm bored!

Were you scared of going in the water after watching Jaws?

Terrified. I lived beside the sea and used to love it. But the summer of 79 changed all that. (Thats when I first saw it on RTE).

Yeah, a few times. It's a lot of fun, although when clumsy people do it and kick everyone in the head it's not fun.

Ever proper moshed? Not bouncing up and down but slamming shoulders with topless fat metallers moshed?

I've never moshed with topless fat metallers.

When playing poker do you attempt a few bluffs or fold as soon as you see you have nothing?

I would be more inclined to try a bluff if I had something but then felt someone mad me by a little. Once in a while I'd throw a mad bluff if I was late in the round and there wasn't much going on. Once it goes heads up I'll go in with almost anything if I'm in a strong position.

When was the last time you played poker?

I got a poker set for a friend because she likes to gamble and we spent most of last Christmas trying to figure out how to play poker, we didn't do very well :p

I would prefer to be left completely alone when I sleep, however my other half is touchy feely and likes a cuddle and an arm over me.
I tolerate it for a bit, then I have to edge away.
It's absolutely nothing to do with him; it's just me and how I am.
I do cuddle up to him before I go asleep though.

When was the last time you were in A&E?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,400 ✭✭✭Medusa22

I have CF so I'm not usually admitted through A&E when I need to go into hospital but about a year and a half ago it was late at night and I had a lung bleed so I had to be admitted through A&E

Are you afraid of going to the dentist?

    Ooh that sounds nasty, Medusa!

I do feel anxious going to the dentist purely because I have super sensitive teeth, so anything I have done is painful.
When I have my teeth cleaned, I have to have four injections in my mouth to numb it entirely.

    Dry cider

    Know any session moths

I wasn't familiar with the term...here's what the Urban Dictionary had to say...

Irish slang for a woman who will fulfil a sexual favour for alcohol or party related drugs i.e. ecstasy as payment, or a woman who is always up for the drink, or 'sesh'.
Jaysus, yer wan Nikita is nothing but a session moth. D'you not hee-or? She rode Damo for a yoke der last nite.

    In answer to your question...no I don't.

Is this the something new that I learned today?
