Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He doesn't know how to use the three seashells! (It's a a Demolition Man reference. Basically they don't have toilet paper in the future so they use three seashells for scraping they poop chute)

    Tinned pears in juice.

Do you personally know anybody famous?

I know Ed Asner. I'm related to Evelyn Cusack (weather lady from the telly), and I'd know a few of the Irish models from work.

Ever have an infection in your wisdom tooth

Yes, every year or so I get something stuck between the gum and one of my wisdom teeth which then infects me. Can get very sore very quick and a divil to clear.

Do you have a large collection of meds?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Right now it's just my epilepsy meds, thyroid meds and then the meds for my stooopid teeth

Are you good at remembering to take medicine

Nope - I'm awful at it. The only tablets I take are multi-vitamins etc and I have to set a reminder on my phone so I take them :-/

Do you go to concerts often? What was your last/is your next one?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Last one was Johnny Marr. Next ones are the Stone Roses (twice) and the Pixies. But thats a long ways away.

Would you be one of those trying to record a concert with your mobile phone?

I've left my drawers in other people's houses but I do not have "a" drawer ;-)

How many hours sleep do you get on average every night?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    @everlast - 7-8 is my average.

    Whats the plan for today?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

(Now I'm paranoid -- the things with the shelves on rollers where you put socks and knickers and small stuff, they're drawers aren't they?? Am I even calling them the right thing?? Eff you M!)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

I have so much to do today

Would you give your oh their own present to wrap

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

No, that would be mean and lazy and uncaring.

My post above should have said 'nor drawers'....so yes, you are right. Drawers are those things that you keep smalls in. And Drawers is an old fashioned word for 'pants'.

Do you put a lot of care and attention in to wrapping presents, or just lash it on?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

I delegate. Last year I gave all my presents to my best friend to wrap.
This year my OH is wrapping though after your answer I might give hers to him and his to her to wrap.

    Why is it
    Him and her
    And
    His and hers.

Why isn't there another word for her in one of those scenarios

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Its a bit early to be asking those confusing questions. Try something like...

    Do you like to smile?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    No cause I have dimples

Would you be conscious of smiling if you had craters in your face

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

No, I like dimples so I do.

    Do you get enough excercise?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

    What's for breakfast
