Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Do...sharing is caring.

Is there any point in having something if you're not going to share it?

Do you cut your grass with an electric mower?

No it's the one you push but we don't have a lot of grass, just the front and the decking takes up most of the back

My bed. Lights out. Blackout blinds closed. Total silence. It is where I can figure things out, hit the reset button, get things in perspective.

Do things bother you much....or water off a ducks ass?

At times yes very very much. I deal with them as kindly or at least as graciously as I can. I don't always succeed very well.

Do people take advantage of you?

No, I dont think so. I reckon I am good at reading people and can spot a user a mile off....but who knows. Perhaps I am just a string in someone else bow.

Ever sailed a 1 man boat?

    No, I haven't.

How can I read people better? Or is it something innate that I can't learn?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

    No, I haven't.

No easy answer to that one. But when you listen to someone, hear what they are saying and hear WHY they are saying it.

Do you have anyone on your boards ignore list?

Yes I do. It can make threads terribly confusing for me though.

    Do you?

Yep. Fairly sure I was too. It was all cyber though thankfully however I did foolishly disclose some real life info. Thankfully nothing came of it in the end.

At the moment it's Alicia von Rittberg. She was the young blonde girl in Fury.

If you were attacked by a woman, would you hit back?

I am female myself. I think I would generally try to avoid that if possible. I think everyone has the right to defend themselves but only with necessary force.

    Ever dyed you hair?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

Dyed my hair blue once, looked more like a german shepherd when the dye washed out.

Have you been enjoying any outdoors today?

Top hats should be worn everyday! :D

I did yeah. I bleached it and was called "Melonhead" in work so I splashed a load of blue-black dye into it. Looked awesome then!:D

Would you like to take up any martial arts?

I tried it for a little while. I thought self defense would be good for my head etc. But not seriously. I think I kick boxing /workout class would be fun!

And yes top hats all the way!:)

Can I get away with long silk gloves everyday?

Yeah I walked a total of 10km over the weekend. Lovely weather out. Got a little sunburnt though.
