Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have to say no.... I stood/fell off a board on a lake when I was about 17. It was not surfing.

Stir fries are one of my favs! :-)

What unusual sports have you done?:)

Skiing but I don't think that counts as unusual.

Gonna go surfing soon though and maybe canoeing/sea kayaking.

I think a balance of different days is good. Some working, some with friends some creative etc. And just chilling.

    Is skiing hard to learn?

Takes decent coordination. I found it okay to learn but fairly challenging as I'm pretty tall.

Is sea kayaking as tough on the arms as it looks?

Yes it is. I only did it once though. And we stayed close to the beach. We were supposed to go over to jump off this peer. But by the time we all got there the tide had gone out. You'll be fine though. I don't have much upper body strength it's more technique. I never put the paddle too deep in the water ...just sort of skimming. Stretch out your neck shoulders etc. Seriously though sunscreen! You'll need more than you think and that burn seemed different. I think the canoe i had was pretty small and light too. And the water wasn't wild or anything. It's carrying the canoes up after!

What height are you? I'm five four!

I used to think sci-fi drama, art house and comedies. But I guess if I like it I like it! Blockbusters or whatever I like what I like. Sci-fi and comedy are hard to go wrong with. Or a good merchant Ivory. I like weird films that make me go WTF?

I saw zoolander that was really funny I liked it :). I'm not an ambiturner! :pac:

Ever see see this is spinal tap?

No, I would need a good reason to throw a punch.

Do you despair at 'celebrities' made famous by shows such as the X Factor?
