Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I go to my counties big ball games.
We have steadily improved the last 2 years and hoping for a good run this year.

From that can you guess where I'm from?

    Emm....Meath or Roscommon???

    Am I even close

    You are intuitive!!

Why are the Sunday Game hurling analysts so much better than their football counterparts?

Why are the Sunday Game hurling analysts so much better than their football counterparts?

Brcause they can get away with being critical to a certain extent as everyone involved with hurling wants to see it improved all the time and accepts constructive critism

But those in football a lot of the time employ an us or them mentality againest critics (causing poor Sunday game analysis)..and use results to paper over the cracks of falling skill levels and increasingly boring matches as its nearly as bad as soccer now

    Is that even plausible

No. Not because I've anything against it infact I think society would be better with it legalised but because my lungs suffer enough without puffing smoke through them.

I don't drink anymore but I used to like to acknowledge my limits, know them and then exceed them.
