Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's permanently on silent but if it wasn't it would be a ring ring. Nothing tackier than a musical ring tone.

I'm sure you're fasto now but I'd strongly recommend buying camomile tea for when it happens again! Works a treat for me!

Not a breakdown - but I've definitely had issues with my car while driving.

Do you think people should be made re-sit their driving test every 10 years or so?

The wait times for driving tests would go through the roof, so no. A driving test should be mandatory after every accident.

Would you pass a test after building up so many bad habits over 10 years?

  • Registered Users Posts: 484 ✭✭NicoleW85

I think so - I would probably just need to brush up on any changes to the Highway Code (if any, I dunno lol).

Would you have the patience to be a driving instructor?

No. My head would explode before we'd left the carpark.

If you were a driving instructor how much of a cash incentive would it take for you to pass the candidate?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Driving instructors cant pass candidates, only Driving testers!!

Are you picky when it comes to details?

It would need to be enough to compensate the risk of losing my job. Not much of a job market for sacked corrupt ex driving inspectors. So maybe 50k?

Have you ever failed a driving test?

Not a chance. I would not make a very good corrupt driving tester. :(

Do you think that been a driving tester would be a boring job?

...been...should that not be being? Seems I am picky after all. :pac:

I wouldn't say it's the most exciting but I reckon they see a few funny characters.

Do you fly past slow learner drivers or be patient and try not to put them under any undue pressure?

    Ginger Biscuits are my favourite.

Do you sometimes spell words in the American spelling. E.g. Color instead of colour?

Not sure what that is. I'd probably just stick to the ginger myself.
