Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Perhaps,

    What happened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,180 ✭✭✭✭jimgoose

    Perhaps,

    What happened?

They shoo-ed people off tracker mortgages onto term fixed-rate jobbies, who went thus out of a fear that ECB rates were going to jump. What they neglected to tell them at the time was that they wouldn't be allowed to go back to the tracker rates, instead ending up on standard variable and getting reamed like cylinder bores. The Supreme Court declared that this was fcukacting, rightly so, and the Central Bank here put them in their box.

Do you know what a tracker mortgage is? :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

I do and I will be keeping mine until the day it is paid off. No modern day deal could beat the good old tracker.

Did July just fly bye for you?
