Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've only experienced Xanax (and not by script either, I'm more a fan of self medication) and jaysus that left me flat out so it did

Is there any difference between Xanax and valium

    Never taken either.

Would you resent me if I said genuinely 'please be careful Lexie.' ?

I'm good at curries. Chinese, Thai, Indian.
Christmas dinners are my big ones. Leek and potato soup, vol au vaunts, Turkey/ham etc - everything's from scratch, even cranberry sauce, trifle, cheesecake and Christmas cake.
When I lived out of home the boys I lived with loved cottage pie I made (with fake mince and all!)

Homemade taco fries are appreciated, cola chicken, meh - I don't know. I really like cooking!!

Do you like sweet or savoury more

Oooh I wish I was YOUR friend!
Both. I am veggie and I like asian food. Less of the sweet as I became an adult.

How did you learn to cook? :-)

My mom died when I was younger so it was my job for my dad and brother. I wasn't always good at it, I really suck at concentrating so it's an effort for me but once I get into it I feel relaxed.

    How do you relax

I am sorry to hear about your Mom.xx

You're obviously very caring towards your Dad and brother. I know they must have appreciated it. I'm glad it helps you unwind.

Music I think helps me. :-)

    And the all important question....
A glass of wine helps me relax and unwind.

When was the last time you are food outdoors?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Mm not something I tend to do. Dust from the street, fear of spiders and an audience would put me off eating outside.

    Are you content

I am a deep thinker and therefore I would say that I am not content at all and probably never have been. I am accepting though.

Would you give up your life and start afresh somewhere brand new?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,154 ✭✭✭silverfeather

    I love picnics!

I have some issues I need to work on. As regards anxiety ... and self esteem. But I am a lot better. I am content in many ways. I realize how lucky I am. I have things I want. I desperately want to be published. I have to belief that I can do that. I have thought of in the future doing counselling you can't make much money But I think I could do it for places like pieta house. I don't know if I have the right personality type. I might get too wound up in it. I would like to do some public speaking. I am going to the toastmasters club in Buswells.

But I am the kind of person that is content in themselves naturally I guess. Everyone has a heaven inside. I want to be content and happy but never smug.

    Oooh question sorry !!

What age were you when you lost your last baby tooth?

Have seriously considered it, have got visas for other countries and then of course got too tied up in a relationship, he's done his travelling doesn't want to live anywhere else so it was either him or a fresh start without him, and here I am.

    Do you believe in karma

No. I think people use it as a coping mechanism for life.

How many hours sleep do you get of a night, on average?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Do you know that is the no 1 reason I always hear for people not moving abroad. A relationship that just started! I do hope he appreciates you!

    In a way.
I believe you are what you do. My soul is of light and love (puke I know). Bad things happen to good people it doesn't mean you are a bad person. I don't expect good karma for anything. It's strange doing good things does not make you a good person but doing bad things makes you a bad person. Isn't that weird? I don't have a lot of drama in life usually. I think that's a good sign I am doing ok. I have good people around me I try and keep it that way. I keep life light. I do good because it feels good. Occasionally I do bad cuz it feels good :-P When I'm good I am good when I am bad I'm better ! :-P It's not good to missperceive yourself. I don't believe in the theory of polarity anyway. I try not to hurt anyone. All I will get is that most of the time no one will be hurt.
