Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best football is subjective. Plenty of people don't really call all the diving and theatrics of Dani Alves, Busquets, Neymar, Mascherano, and Suarez as the best football in the world.

They are not that bad this year. Madrid are a lot worse for me.

I'd like a barca and Madrid final myself.

Not me, both of them rolling around for the entire game would ruin it.

Was going to mention the very same thing.

70% possession, and when they don't pass or bore the opposition into submission, they fall down and whinge like a 2 year old who isn't getting an ice cream off the ice cream man.

Suarez just there today, mortally injured but then perky enough to to start yappin about not getting a free.
    Beautiful game indeed.

Point me to the team that never dives...

Barca are AMAZING to watch and tbh I don't think that's subjective. It's scintillating football.

The diving and theatrics is in the culture of LaLiga, they're all at it, Real are worse in my view. The Italians do it too - you're a Juve fan are you?, they're just as bad. In fact they do it in England and everywhere else to a lesser extent perhaps, but it happens everywhere. Diving and theatrics aside no-one plays football like Barca at their best.

But if Sanchez played for Barca you'd be sucking his balls and don't pretend you wouldn't.

You haven't been listening to George Hamilton lately, Sanchez does play for Barca.

That's like saying "show me a team that never attacks".
Or course every team does it.

Personally I think I prefered to watch Jupp Heynckes Bayerns team to Peps.

    He's talking about Reina.

Messi is just incredible to watch. A lot of stats get thrown around about him, but the most impressive has to be that he's won THREE times as many Champions League winners medals as Djimi Traore. Best player ever, without question.

Only just realised you were talking about Reina, I misread that as Pep.
You're bang on tbh, only after the money now, he's in poor shape for a professional footballer also.

You indicate Barcelona are a team of divers, individuals is what dives at most clubs...

    I suggest Burnley anyway :)

    Why are you watching so?
    Mm, let's seee......

Possibly because I've an interest in seeing bayern do well seeing as I'm living in Munich and find their varied version of total football nice to watch?

He was having the craic there at half time like he was playing a junior B match against a load of lads he used to go to school with.

    Rakitic the unbookable.

Meh. You're reason is stupid. No point being hyperbolic about diving and play acting when it's in the game.

I would do the same. I have no shame. I would even be eating macdonalds.

Must be great though playing with all those players and getting the best seat in the house.

Showed all the players in the tunnel waiting to come out for the 2nd half for 2 or 3 mins.

Take off the best midfielder on the pitch tonight?
    No.

There comes a point when it stops being luck. The man is a genius. He does that so often and has a success rate of 99%. He doesn't get lucky, it's a skill.

of course he is great at it but the real skill in it is intercepting the through ball before the attacker. I thought he was caught in no mans land there and a good touch by neymar he was in serious trouble.

Barca are unlucky that their chances keep going to Suarez and Neymar rather than Messi. As good as the other 2 are, messi is a different class

    Suarez isn't bad in fairness.

If Bayern had Ross Barkley in midfield instead of Thiago, they would be winning by now.
