Tooth extraction problem

hi, I went to my dentist last week, had X-ray, needed an extraction, put me on a course of antibiotics for a week, changed halfway through to stronger one.
Went back on Tuesday to get it removed but after giving me the max amount of anaesthetic I could still feel everything at the tooth. She then told me I need to get it surgically removed, how long will I be waiting?
Any help as to where to get it done? I have no health insurance so will be paying for it.
I'm also getting married at the end of the month so ideally need it done before then. The pain is horrendous at the min.
