You could tell he was going to spit the dummy as soon as he came out with the old "Dont talk to me in corners" mid race.

In fairness though, it's not a difficult request to follow, yet he keeps having to restate it...

This time he ended the sentence with please instead of man. He hasn't been the only driver to give out about contact in corners etc. But he seems to be the only one singled out for scrutinizing. Is it because he ends most sentences with man?

Interesting few races coming up now. Monaco is where Nico really took hold last year, and it'll be interesting to see if he can keep the momentum going or whether Hamilton can use the extra confidence he's had so far to turn it around for him.

And then Canada, a Hamilton speciality circuit where Nico won last year, admittedly with brake issues. The Mercedes didn't show any sign of braking issues by this time last year so I hope they'll have sorted out the brakes for Canada.

It's because he's such a good driver and is right up there, and that tiny little phrase is the first glimpse that the confidence is cracking and he isn't superhuman after all. It's the same as Nico asking for driving advice knowing full well he can't have it.
