    Hi

    Can anyone tell me the best way of checking an old electrical Distribution Board ? What would be the main checks / items to look out for.

    Is there some sort of Thermal check I can do for loose connections - any info on this would be greatly appreciated

    You could write an entire book on that.
    Start by checking the fundamentals and see where it leads you.
    Is there some sort of Thermal check I can do for loose connections - any info on this would be greatly appreciated

    A thermal imaging camera will do the trick.
