Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    No cover for Can

Game is there for liverpool if they want it. Not the usual intensity from Chelsea.

Rodgers is selling Can down the river here. Playing him in defence is bad enough, he hasn't given him any cover. I feel sorry for Can to be honest.

Yet an under-par Chelsea still look the more likely :(

Skrtel gets a yellow for being a Liverpool player

Can's wing the weak point. Nothing new there, been like that the past few months.

Just a pity our manager cant see it

That's a really fine euphemism for cheating.....and part of the problem.

When players stay on their feet they don't get a free? It was a clear foul... I don't see your point at all. Apart from that you think its not "macho" enough for you.

Even underpar they're at home and the best team in the league... i don't see the need for a smiley? We know we're miles behind them without any striker of note.

Fcuk knows. Can is a very good footballer but he's not a good defender

Don't make up posts from me.

You're ignoring the point anyway. You know it was a foul, you know that you're basically attempting to make out that someone is less of a man because they did what every single player in the world would do. But carry on...

Smiley to symbolise that a team we are trying to be competing with is light years ahead of us as that makes me sad? thought that was fairly straight forward

That's exactly what you said. Nobody made anything up.

You support diving. Good for you. I'm sure you are thrilled with all the diving.

But as a club we're not really trying to compete with Chelsea. No more than Southampton or Spurs are atm. We've a long way to go in the development of the club as a successful current model to be close to chelsea (and thats ignoring the on the field product).

Chelsea put in 2 hard tackles at the start of the game, and Liverpool have been pretty meek since.

Would've been a great ball from Henderson if we had a striker

A quicker CF is in there good idea.

The league cup games shows they can compete but consistency is the issue.

Where did i say if i don't cheat they get away with cheating? What i said was that its ok to go to ground if its a foul. IMO its not diving which would be trying to con the ref. Pretty obvious tbh.

If Lambert was any slower he'd be going backwards. He's like a truck trying to turn a sharp corner looking more likely to jack-knife at every turn.

"Okay to go to ground" is the terminology for diving you use to make yourself feel better about it. It's an attempt to make diving palatable. It doesn't work.

That's not any barometer on its own.

Some of the challenges for our yellows have been awful lazy.

I'm know what your saying. But let's say a player is through on goals and gets a kick but not enough to go down but it slows him down and the keeper collects the ball. Do you think he should go down.

Be great if we could play our best players in their best positions for once

Can is getting a roasting. Constantly being left in a one on one situation with hazard.
