No he shouldn't. There is no situation where it's okay to cheat....and simulation is exactly that.

What should happen is that the referee gives the foul, or the linesman gives it if the ref doesn't see it. A player flinging himself to the ground has no bearing on whether the defender kicked him or not.

The ref not giving a foul is no excuse to dive. That argument, the one Pyjamarama used, is a poor one.

That's great if refs did give the foul but they don't. You very rarely get a free kick without going to ground. Blame the refs not the players.

You have that logic backwards. The refs often don't give the frees because of all the diving. It's very hard to tell from 30 yards away if a player has been taken down or he faking. And that's the problem.

Refs would give more legitimate fouls if all the faking stopped.

I find it incredible that they have just won the title and they sing more about a player in the 5th place team than about their own players/manager

As for the match, neither side playing great which is to be expected with chelsea not having the same intensity after winning the league and liverpool just not being in great form and possibly not having the players particularly in wide areas

having said all that fabregas should be off the pitch which would have given liverpool a big advantage

Not as tough as previously, but still very tough. More so when we consider our performance in the transfer market.

12 goals. Multiple instances of stepping up when needed. Only real source of leadership in the side.

It's a problem, but I don't think it's our biggest issue, striker first. I have confidence in Henderson stepping up.
