    Hi,

I'm having problems with my downlights.

No matter how many times I push them up into the ceiling they still end up hanging down.

    This is very annoying.

Does anybody know how to get them to stay in the ceiling?

If you can adjust the clips that might help. Otherwise a dab of silicone maybe.

Is it the fitting itself or the lamp?

If its the fitting it is quite possible from taking them down the plasterboard has been worn away.

Take them down easy and turn slightly so they grip a section of plasterboard that is intact.
Is the diameter of the whole too large?

If its the lamp has the spring holding lamp to fitting got damaged or missing altogether?

^They're the bulb retainer, then there are two spring loaded retainers on the fitting it's self.
