Hello All,

We have a set of FAAC gates (242 or 244, not certain the correct number) that operate swing gates. They were installed less than a year ago but have stopped functioning correctly for a second time.

The gates open correctly but as they swing close it seems that that the gate that should close over behind the first instead closes over ahead of it, the gates then swing back open again. This repeats a number of times & eventually the gates may or may not close.

The first occasion that the gates stopped functioning correctly it was from the same symptoms. The installer was called out & fixed the gates, although he says there is not guarantee period with the installation.

Any ideas on a fix? Does this occur if someone hits the gates?
