Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Battery went did mid ride a couple of weeks ago with no warning.

Replaced it and was sure to make sure I did it correctly having read many of the problems with dead batteries.

Got a warning that my battery was low during the week but never got to replace it. Was going out this morning and couldnt sync. Thought nothing off it but when I got home put a new battery in and nothing.

Seems to be dead. Looks like rust on the inside so despite making sure the red o ring was in place it still didnt prevent it getting wrecked.

Now the bike has been out in some awful weather. Its Ireland after all but it hasnt shown any signs of ingress up until this week.

Any one have similar problems? How did you rectify it?

I was talking to the owner of my LBS about power meters last week, specifically stages. He said the first models of stages had a firmware issue which drained the battery quickly, then even quicker once replaced. He said shimano were aware of the problem and were honouring replacements of the affected units. Might be worth you exploring this avenue.

Probably because they have had so much experience at replacing units
