Got an email from PP this morning saying that I am no longer allowed to receive promotions/bonuses, mbs etc.

Not sure why today as I didn't even bother taking up the free bets at the weekend in the premier league. Emptied my account already so goodbye paddy!

Guessing it's your previous bets then as you didn't use them last weekend.
Always worth going through your bets and seeing if you can identify any reason why they would do that.
Very handy to know if you open another account with a different bookie what to avoid doing.

they are weeding the undesirables out and as we see not just banning these offers but best odds guaranteed,mbs etc. for the sake of a fiver freebet its not worth it. im not doing this anymore on my new account as it will be too much hassle to set up another.

I've got a collection of emails from bookies over the years telling me "they are now restricting it to peanuts or closing my account".
Got one that told me I had 1 day to close my account or they wouldn't be sending me on my money!

the only email i got from pp was one that said my account would be closed due to trading decision and that it wouldnt affect my credit rating lol. have never got anything saying im banned from offers,mbs etc. but its easy to tell. for example max bet will be very low and also if you click on a horse the best price guaranteed logo will be missing

got that a few yrs back and a lot of others as i checked online. they must make a fortune when they can pick and choose who's money they want. have had a few accounts since so at least i can still bet with them but its a major hassle trying to get new accounts set up

yep and i hadnt won much at all there when it was shut. but i remember the times when it would get restricted. usually after wins on markets that wouldnt get much action. ive had a few accounts since and am a bit better at avoiding being restricted.

ive done two of these bet 20 get 10inplay with players who werent in squad. i fear ill be restricted again soon because of this and this new account is only just funded. a friends old acc he never uses. i just think they do some good enhanced prices and mbs,early payout etc. be a shame to miss out

Much easier these days to just back one of the teams in the w/d/w Market as they are normally best price one of the teams in a TV match and then lay it off on the exchanges if you just want a zero cost Free Bet.
Mind you after next weekend, that will be the end of it for the summer.

The 1st one above was a winning one and the other one, I was breaking even on.
Having checked the bets on the 2nd one, I discovered over 90% of the bets I had. all went off lower SP so that would never help.

And I've done this bet before but different odds but generally speaking the odds don't change much if at all when game gets under way so

Free 5 euro bet Juve win at 5/1 = 25 with free bet.

Not sure of if you were taking into account the 2x 5 euro free bets you get.

Apologies if I have this arse about face and it wouldn't be the first time :rolleyes::D

Anyway I may open a Bet365 account and use the best formulation for best out come.

Pre match Barca win = 9.23, -5, = 4.23 Profit going into In Play betting.

Pre match €15 on Barca wins 9.23, take away the €5 on the draw to give you profit of 4.23 if Barca Win going into In Play betting.

Pre Match Draw = 13.75 + 5 euro stake
Draw = 13.75, - 15 = -1.25.

Pre match €5 on the draw give us profit of 13.75 less the €15 stake on Barca to give you a loss of €1.25 again going into In Play betting
As I said these were "pre in play" bets.

The reason why in play odds are always shorter is because of margins.
Pre match margins are around 103-106%, sometimes taking all the best prices around, it will work out at 100-101%.
This is because the firms are all trying to get the turnover pre-match.
In play, the margins are between 107-110% depending on the firm(s) involved, reason is competition in play is limited due to the hassle of checking the prices with different companies at the same time.

losing best odds guaranteed,mbs and other specials is awful. thats why i stopped abusing the free 10 in play offer. better off doing what okidoki said and laying on betfair so pp dont flag the account. no doubt they are sending the same email to many more. the traders were having a pain in the butt having to search squad lists etc. just closing these offers to certain players is a much easier way of saving themselves further hassle
