Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Okay maybe a stupid question... but i'm being told Madrid is now leading because their goal was an away goal.

But surely both of the juventus goals last week were away goals?

So why would madrid win if the current score remains?

Madrid scored one away goal last week, Juve have yet to score an away goal it's 2-2 on agg. Real leading on last week's away goal.

    Silly by James.

What was Vidal doing there?? Could have easily been penalised for that

Shocking dive. Yellow was right...shut up Ronnie Whelan.

  • Registered Users Posts: 661 ✭✭✭derm0j073

Well done ref , you just dont see enough players booked for diving .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

I would have booked both Vidal & James and no penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,851 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

    Poor decision there.

    Could've been a peno.

    Certainly wasn't a 'dive' warranting a booking.

Oops. I said it was a stupid question... I saw Renaldo score and then heard they were now ahead so I thought they were in Turin...

    :]

Vidal nearly with Alex Song forearm smash

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Lichtsteiner or as Dunphy called him Lichtenstein accusing someone of overreacting :o

It would be great news for Juve if Carvajal goes off and that walking liability Pepe comes on.

Carvajal has been very good today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Well that was crap.

Juve have been poor, marchisio is anonymous.

He dived to win a penalty, should be appropriately punished.

I think Juve should stay away from James in the box. One thing on his mind the second he gets in there.

    Except it wasn't a dive.

Ref would wanna don some specs for the second half

My granny would've stayed up there.

I fear for either team in the final, both have oodles of weaknesses.

It was, he could have easily stayed on his feet. Instead, he felt contact and went over like a sack of spuds

    That's not a dive.... It's simulation.

Mobile steam floating about? Wouldn't mind catching the second half of this if possible!

Why is Dunphy saying he's going no where? It doesn't matter. Muppet.

Only seeing the penalty incident now (the one given, not one replay during the half!), looks fairly spot on to me.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Dunphy trolling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,496 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

He went over before there was any contact. If he was to make half an attempt to want to stay up, it was a stonewall penalty

Semantics, its the same thing

You honestly wouldn't know that Pirlo is on the pitch. Madrid bossing it totally.

    Semantics? No. It's really different.

Both are ways of describing players trying to deceive the referee into giving them a favorable decision by means of faking the amount of contact made.

    Really different?! Nope

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Juve all over the place, Real bossing the midfield.

Really disappointed with juventus tonight, real don't even have to play well. Juve should exploit the lack of a DM by Madrid

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,584 ✭✭✭pmy.murphy

The Old Lady of Turin needs to find some of her old magic fast. This match is beginning to slip away

Would love to see Buffon and Pirlo in a CL Final again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Pogba not doing the best audition.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,388 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

Pirlo needs to be subbed losing possession constantly a trait he has bein having for much of the season

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    What did Brady say?

Ronaldo holding up play because he's applying his makeup.

Yeah worse still is that they won't get to a semi final every year. They seem to have started where they left off. Pogba is playing like a headless chicken who's mind is elsewhere

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Marcelo is the best player on the pitch.

Pogba doesn't look like 90 million on tonight's performance.
