Planning on going in to the city centre on Friday with a few mates. Just wondering is there any good pubs in the city which have cheap pints for do drink promotions on a Friday evening?

J.W Sweetmans sell their own inhouse beers cheap and normally have a beer of the week/month that is discounted. Porterhouse also has a pint of the day for €4.

O'Reillys at Tara Street train station have all draught pints for €3.60. I think but not 100% sure that Diceys on Harcourt Street have all pints and bottles €4 on a Friday.

Majority in Diceys is only €2 up until 10 o clock as well.

There are a few good 10 euro for pint and a pizza deals if you also want food

The beer house is particular noteworthy as they have pitch of house beer for 10 euro (3 pints or so)

Panti bar also has Pantie's pale ale (Trouble) for 4 euro a pint or 11 for a pitcher

If you fancy watching a bit of sport at the same time then Woolshed have pints for around €3.50 and pitchers for a tenner you could make it cheaper by applying for their discount card online then picking it up when you're there takes 10c or so off a pint not an awful lot but every little helps!

What do they do for €3?

Ive always presumed it was just the usual crappy Heineken/Bud/Carlsberg?

You're not going to get craft beer for €3 and neither is Dicey's a craft beer pub, it's a cheap, pick up joint. :)
